Immediate start for a Governance Officer

**Your new role**

The Senior Corporate Governance Officer provides effective support for corporate governance related activities, assisting to ensure that processes comply with legislation, objectives and policies. This position reports to the Corporate Governance Lead and has no direct reports. This role requires researching, developing and administering complex Corporate Governance projects such as the Corporate Governance Framework. You'll be responsible for reviewing, analysing and developing corporate policies and procedures and developing and delivering training to enhance employees' understanding of legislative obligations.

You'll manage incoming requests and enquiries from internal stakeholders relating to corporate governance matters and provide advise to internal stakeholders about legislation, policy and procedures. You'll also be required to undertake research, prepare reports and make recommendations to the executive team as required.
**What you'll need to succeed**

It is essential that you will have the knowledge and ability to interpret legislation in a government setting and ideally come with a qualification in business, politics or related discipline. You will need to have a recent police check.
