**Procurement Officer
- GOVERNMENT**

We are seeking a suitably qualified Procurement Officer to work close to home in this 3 month Nedlands's based opportunity.

**Location: NEDLANDS**
**Contract Start dates: ASAP**
**Contract end date: 3 months with possibility of extension**
**Pay rate: $40-45 per hour plus super dependant on experience level this could be flexible**

**Hours: 38 hours per week, 8.30am - 5pm (with an hour lunch)**

**Key requirements**:

- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to establish a business partnership/relationship with customers.
- Demonstrated good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated solid negotiating and conflict resolution skills
- Well-developed time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in changing environments.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge and experience in procurement and contract administration across a variety of categories.
- Previous Local, State or Federal Government procurement experience.
- Experience in using computerised procurement and contracts management systems.

**Essential requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Management or Law and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- A current 'C' class drivers licence.
- A current National Police Certificate
