Our client is currently seeking a Corporate Governance Officer to join their team.
**Your new company**
Our client requires a Corporate Governance Officer to join their busy team for a temporary period of 6 weeks. This is with a government client based in Perth’s western suburbs.
**Your new role**
As a Corporate Governance Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide secretariat support to the risk and audit team- Provide support and oversight of the organisation’s governance function- Provide corporate policy and governance for staff- Undertake research to develop governance policies
**What you'll need to succeed**
Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:
- Sound policy and research skills- Knowledge of government and parliamentary functions- Project coordination experience- Well demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
