Events and Partnerships Coordinator

Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, this PART-TIME role is pivotal in attracting and coordinating profitable business events within RAC Arena. Working with corporate clients and alongside key internal departments, this role will best suit a naturally enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, event management and business development.

**About Role**
- Source, quote and coordinate business events for new and existing clients
- Plan, implement and measure a comprehensive business events sales plan
- Negotiate with hirers to secure business while maintaining profitability and quality
- Prepare and analyse reports and key correspondence
- Conduct site inspections and meetings with clients
- Assist the Partnerships Manager with executing the venues sponsorship program
- Attend networking and industry events as required, which can occur outside of office hours
- Working with the team to ensure event management standards are maintained at the highest level.

**About You**
- Two-three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar environment/industry
- Personality plus A bright, all-round people person
- A multi-tasker with exceptional problem solving and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Driven by sales targets and possessing sound understanding of budgeting
- Experience in operations, sales, event management, or partnerships
- An Australian resident or permanent resident

Desirable
- Experience in managing data and using CRM programs (e.g., Momentus, Navision).
- A tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in events, tourism, hospitality or related field.
