Aquip Supplies is currently seeking a full-time Business Development Associate for our Wetherill Park office. Aquip has delivered rainwater tanks & pumps across Australia since 2008. We have a strong team mindset, being 100% family owned, and we want someone who will confidently fill this role and contribute to a positive workplace. This role will be based in Wetherill Park, reporting to the General Manager.

The role of the Business Development Associate is to support and assist management in the successful promotion of Aquip’s products and providing assistance through completing sales tasks.

**Accountabilites**:

- Taking customer orders and processing
- Raising and following up on quotes
- Recording and following up leads
- Cold calling customers
- Account management - staying in touch with customers
- Working with the team on continuous improvement of processes
- Assisting management in the development and expansion of Aquip
- Building relationships with new and prospective customers
- Maintaining quality, timely and accurate order fulfilment to ensure exceptional customer service
- Performing other duties which may be required from time to time as requested
- Report on the performance of marketing activities when required

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a sales, marketing, or another business development role
- Office experience in trades and services preferred
- Experience working and engaging with internal and external customers

**Skills**:

- Strong call abilities, over-the-phone manners, and an ability to excel in lengthy sales calls with focus.
- Proficiency in using standard office software programs such as Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel,

Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Smartsheet’s, and others
- Time and task management
- Working in a team and dealing with priorities
- Required to exhibit a high level of proficiency in handling and addressing queries
- Clear communicator and friendly manner
- An ability to provide technical support is highly desirable

- Professional and appropriate dress, manner and attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Proactive approach to continual self-improvement
- Keeping up to date with all relevant compliance matters
- Participate in training courses and personal development

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
