**About the role**

As the IT Capability & Planning Manager at Youi, you will play a pivotal role to support the CIO and IT Senior Leadership Team in ensuring: the smooth operation of the department; change within IT is managed well and we communicate well internally and externally about the success of the team.

As the IT landscape at Youi continues to evolve, we’re looking to bring a fresh perspective to our technology operations that focuses on continual improvement, and simplification. We’re looking for someone to maximise CIO effectiveness, enhance the IT team capability and culture and drive positive change.

Key objectives include (but are not limited to):

- Facilitating cross-IT planning and decision support to align technology improvement initiatives and enable effective execution.
- Supporting IT strategic planning and execution, to enhance the organisation's technology capabilities and support its long-term goals.
- Managing IT communication and change management, effectively conveying technology-related information to the business and externally to manage IT change improvement and tell the good news stories of our team.
- Acting as an IT culture lead, fostering a positive and innovative technology culture within the organisation and promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams.
- Providing CIO and administrative support, assisting the CIO in various administrative tasks and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the IT department.
- Driving IT capability development, identifying opportunities to enhance the skills and competencies of the technology workforce and fostering a continuous learning environment.
- Improving the IT operating model, identifying areas for optimisation, and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the technology function.

**About you**

You will have:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience operating and delivering in a business management role or role engaging at a senior executive level, promoting collaboration, and achieving results.
- Practical experience working within an agile IT environment, fostering adaptability and innovation.
- Ability to coordinate strategic initiatives.
- Strategic and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Track record of success with executive-level and inter-departmental collaboration.
- Experience providing executive support.
- Knowledge of IT best practices and emerging technologies.
- Strong consulting, influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Business-minded and results-oriented.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- Strong integrity and ethical conduct.
