About the School Yarrilee has established itself as an educational leader at the forefront of schooling in Hervey Bay. Our school was named as an Independent Public School (IPS) in 2016, allowing us more flexibility in curriculum delivery, staffing and funding models to ensure the best learning outcomes for all students. About the Role The Principal reports through the School Supervisor to the Regional Director. As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following: Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students. Uphold values-based, ethical leadership. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Engage in lifelong learning and professional development. Nurture positive partnerships with students, teachers, community and stakeholders. Be future-oriented and strategic. Understand policies and legislation effecting the department. Manage department resources to achieve goals.
