**How will I Help?**
This role is within the interdependencies stream which supports the Finance, Payroll and HR Stream to identify internal and external dependencies for the Program. We are a centralised Project Team within the Chief Transformation Office within the Finance Department at the Westpac Group.
The Group’s General Ledger (GL) and Australian HR Payroll system is Oracle E-Business (EBS) suite. GL is the source of the Group’s financial management, reporting data and payroll impacts every employee of the Group. The EBS Upgrade project has been initiated to upgrade our Oracle E-Business suite to the latest version (EBS Upgrade 12.2.12) and refresh the underlying hardware.
You will have good working knowledge of all areas of practice. You will be able to perform most tasks without close supervision and possess the planning skills required to enable them to deal with complex issues or resolve conflicting priorities. At this level you should be capable of using a standard procedure to produce acceptable results and be able to plan towards longer-term goals. You will have practical experience in the role and ability to work independently in complex situations and tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage stakeholder communications and engagement including definition of roles and responsibilities as they relate to the change; ensure they remain engaged and committed throughout the change.
- Regular status reporting (including SVOC) as it relates to the change program/initiative including budgets, progress, risks, and resourcing.
- Ensure change related risk (people, operations, organisational) is within desired levels and that risks are managed according to agreed risk frameworks by managing and leading the identification of risks.
- Plan and facilitate workshops to achieve a desired outcome, using techniques that are fit for purpose for the audience and nature of the workshop.
- Define the associated change scope in consideration of the project scope, business outcomes and capability being delivered for small to medium projects; demonstrating an understanding of the agreed value outcomes; assist on large and/or complex projects.
- Conduct presentations in both small and medium scale formats, ensuring key messages and information are articulated, to achieve audience engagement and understanding.
- Actively promote and encourage open discussion, both within the project and external parties, to ensure transparency and visibility of information and issues, that inform decisions and outcomes.
- Ensure sustainability and acceptance of the change for medium to large projects, through engagement with the business owner throughout project lifecycle and readiness assessment activities; assist on large and/or complex projects.
- Develop, maintain, and control change schedules, including establishing milestones, identifying interdependencies (both supplier and receiver), sequencing of activities using optimal resource effort and activity duration estimates for small to medium projects.
