Westpac is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Change Manager** to join the Matrix Program, a key initiative aimed at transforming our scheme credit card product portfolio over the next 2-3 years. This role will see you working across multiple workstreams, helping to simplify, relaunch, and migrate products across both consumer and business portfolios, driving strategic change that will benefit our customers and the business alike.

As part of the Business and Wealth, Chief Operating Office, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of this transformation. You'll be involved from project initiation through to closure, ensuring change initiatives are meticulously planned, executed, and adopted within the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on large-scale change programs and is looking to make a meaningful impact.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:
**Scope Definition & Management**:
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and project teams to scope and define change initiatives, ensuring that outcomes, deliverables, and benefits are clearly articulated and aligned with business goals.

**Change Delivery Analysis**:
Perform detailed impact assessments, gap analyses, and stakeholder analyses to identify how changes will affect people, processes, and systems. Develop actionable change strategies to mitigate risks and enhance the smooth delivery of change initiatives.

**Stakeholder Engagement & Management**:
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the lifecycle of the project. Engage stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their buy-in, understanding, and commitment to the change program.

**Business Readiness & Adoption**:
Lead business readiness assessments, ensuring that teams are fully prepared to adopt and sustain changes. Identify potential issues, monitor risks, and implement mitigation strategies to support the long-term success of change initiatives.

**Training & Support**:
Partner with instructional designers and change management professionals to develop training materials, communication plans, and support resources to ensure stakeholders have the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully navigate changes.

**Change Leadership**:
Act as a change champion, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, flexibility, and adaptability across the business. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to leaders and teams to build their change management capabilities.

**Reporting & Communication**:
Regularly report on the status of change initiatives, including tracking progress, managing risks, identifying resource requirements, and highlighting key achievements and challenges to senior leaders.

**Skills and Experience**:

- **Minimum 3+ years of experience** in managing and delivering change initiatives in complex project environments, particularly within the financial services or large corporate sectors.
- Strong understanding of **change management methodologies** (such as ADKAR, PROSCI) and experience in developing and executing change strategies tailored to the specific needs of the business.
- Proven ability to **influence and engage stakeholders** at all levels, using excellent communication skills to drive alignment and foster collaboration across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct **business readiness assessments** and design interventions that lead to sustainable change adoption.
- Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities, with the ability to adapt to dynamic and evolving business needs.
- Relevant qualifications in **Change Management** or a related field (e.g., **PROSCI certification**, **Business or HR degree**) are strongly preferred.
- Experience working within financial services or credit card portfolios is highly advantageous.
