Federal Government Agency is looking for a Head of Property & Facilities with Government experience to join their team in the CBD of Sydney.

**About the role**:

- Provide strategic advice and direction on Property and Facilities and develop and implement the strategic direction for areas of responsibility within the context of the business plan.
- Initiate, develop and implement strategic Properties & Facilities policy and plan.
- Manage the strategic Property and Facilities plans, governance frameworks and standards.
- Translate broad concepts into operational activities and the handling of the accountability of these activities in a decentralised environment.
- Oversee all property negotiations, leasing agreements, contracting, consultation, design, approvals, implementation, build, relocation and make good for the Agency.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in the property & facility space.

**Essentials**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in FM / another relevant field
- Extensive experience in property and facilities, with specific. experience in government procurement, property process and strategic planning skills in policy development and process.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
