Head of Property - National Brand

Lead the expansion strategy of one of Australia's most exciting fast-casual food brands. We're seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Property to take the reins of our national property portfolio and play a critical role in shaping the brand's growth journey.

About the Role

Reporting to the GM of Property & Development and leading a high-performing team, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of site acquisition, leasing, and property operations across the country. From identifying premium new locations to leading lease negotiations and overseeing the entire property lifecycle, your impact will directly influence brand visibility and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a dynamic national site acquisition strategy.
  • Use tools like Geotech, Pathzz and market intel to identify high-potential locations.
  • Drive lease negotiations, renewals, and rental strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with landlords, agents, and stakeholders to secure premium A-grade sites.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and franchisees to align property initiatives with business goals.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to the leasing team, cultivating a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure accurate lease records, reporting and administration using systems like Lease Eagle and Smartsheets.

About You

  • Minimum 5+ years in senior retail leasing or development roles, ideally within QSR or multi-site retail.
  • Proven success in site sourcing, lease negotiation, and commercial property strategy.
  • A hands-on leader with strong commercial acumen and a "solutions-first" mindset.
  • Experience working in franchising or fast-paced growth environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
