**How will I help?**

The Head of Business Controls and Monitoring (BCM), Property Procurement and Protective Services (PPP) is responsible Responsible for leading a team of first line risk professionals ensuring divisional and business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group.

This role can be based in all Australian states, however travel to Sydney will be required.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the Property, Procurement and Protective Services (PPP) Business Control and Monitoring team consistent with Customer and Corporate Services strategy, Group strategy, Group policies and frameworks, relevant delegations, the Group Risk Appetite Statement and applicable laws and regulations
- Providing first line risk support and advice to the PPP businesses, including support on controls, issues, incidents, risks, obligations etc.
- Leading and embedding PPP Business Control and Monitoring team culture (including risk culture)
- Oversee human resource management including motivating and leading a high-performance team, attracting and retaining required talent.

**What do I need?**

To be set up for success in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Must have previous Head of level experience, leading a BCM or first line risk team.
- Extensive risk management experience
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - being able to clearly extract and simply articulate key messages out of detailed information.
- Driven to deliver - proven ability to deliver the best possible results for the organisation; and shows determination, resourcefulness, and a sense of purpose in achieving this.
- Ideally to have Property & Procurement experience
