We are currently recruiting for a Transport & Freight Plan Optimiser. You will be responsible for working with our Sydney and Market teams to ensure stock is received into our 4 key Countries on time, within agreed freshness and utilisation policy and in good quality condition through effective and efficient route to market means e.g., sea freight or air freight.
**This is an 18-month contract opportunity and based in Rhodes.
**A day in the life of...**:
- Drive and own stock freshness and minimisation of damages due to freight and transport to NPI markets through discussion and negotiation with supply markets
- Conduct root cause analysis of damages to propose solutions to avoid future issues and reduce potential for bad goods.
- On time execution of Materials Handling (MH) and Physical Logistics (PL) transactions (i.e. Good receipt, Good Issue).
- On time execution of SAP MH and PL master data set ups.
- Drive and own the process of managing NPI parked and blocked / GR/IR issues due to transport and freight conditions in markets.
- Compilation and ownership of NPI SC reports that are used in the weekly/monthly business planning process.
**What will make you successful**:
- Demonstrated experience in freight or transport management.
- You will already have great communication skills, particularly when working with non-English speaking teams.
- Strong analytical skills with proven success in root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Proactive with a continuous improvement and results focused mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ambition to be self-driven and autonomous.
- SAP experience will be highly desirable.
- Someone who is dynamic and performs well in a fast-paced environment
- Has an understanding of challenges associated with managing an extensive supply chain across diverse geographies.
