**About the role**:
An opportunity is now available for an
**experienced Supply Chain Officer **in our warehouse operations.

Using your experience, you will help develop our warehouse, assist in reviewing and updating processes, driving our warehouse operations and planning to the next level.

You will coordinate the day-to-day activities involved with the supply of products from the warehouse to external customers, sharing some of the day to day warehouse responsibilities, while also having specific responsibilities for the supply chain as well as being involved in the development and implementation of the S&OP process for the site while working as a back up to related business functions within Purchasing, Despatch and Sales Orders.

**Day to Day responsibilities (shared)**:

- Preparing run sheets and picking slip instructions for warehouse employees
- Arranging deliveries and transport local and interstate and occasionally export overseas
- Entering accurate product, batch and quantity data into the system used onsite.
- Printing Delivery Documents for warehouse and transport
- Checking staged picked goods prior despatch
- Preparing consignment notes
- Clear and constant communication with warehouse team ensuring all deliveries and receivals are completed
- Regular communication with QA, operations, purchasing and accounts for all despatches and receival transactions to accurately entered and product/sales accounted for.
- Tracking proof of delivery dockets
- Updating CHEP accounts
- From time to time be hands on with respect to picking and despatch or goods receival storage as needed

**Day to Day responsibilities (specific)**:

- Communicate and solve problems that arise in the warehouse
- Run Re - Order report and as required create production orders to manage and maintain floor stocks
- Manage DIFOT & SIFOT reports and investigate and report on root causes
- Reconciling freight accounts
- Continually assessing processes for improvement
- Perform S&OP tasks as the system develops

**Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, shipping, and inventory control practices
- A background in administration in planning and warehouse operations
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Very good verbal and written communication with customer service focus
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results - self-starter, self-directed, team player and a problem solver
- Good computer skills, be adaptable, and reliable
