This mid-size firm in the heart of the CBD have modern offices, exceptional mentoring from the Managing Director, as well as an abundance of opportunity to create your own team. The firm have grown from being 3 people to over 60 people across 3 offices, with revenue growing 185% year on year since starting the Business, approximately 20 years ago.

Due to a recent acquisition and a retiring Partner, a new opportunity has become available for an ambitious and experience Business Services Accountant:
Duties will include:

- Working alongside the Managing Director to transfer clients and relationships to the new business
- Reviewing your clients portfolio and assessing their current affairs and any value add services for clients transitioning across to the new business
- You will be running your own portfolio and meeting with clients the guidance of the MD
- Work along the MD to create an exit strategy for the existing Partner
- Building a team under yourself
- Business Services Compliance, including financials, tax returns, BAS, IAS, FBT for all group structures (partnerships, companies, trusts, individuals)

Skills and personal attributes:

- You will have a strong Business Services background, ideally with a tax focus, tax advisory would be of great benefit
- Exposure to APS is highly regarded but not necessary
- You must have proven longevity in prior roles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
- CA/ CPA qualified is essential with a Masters of tax being desirable
- Experience with tax written advice, in regards to GCT, FBT etc
- A great problem solver
- Experience at Management level or above within a reputable mid-tier or Big 4, private clients.

This is an opportunity for you to run your business within a business with the guidance of the Managing Director. The sky is the limit as the MD has provided four of his existing staff equity Partnership, which could also be an opportunity for yourself down the track, if this is of interest, however not necessary.
