We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our team as Business Development Consultant to promote training and educational products with a unique model. We are looking for a passionate, confident and driven sales representative to join our team.
As a YSP team member you will be working within a network of professionals and business owners to help them strategize business development and convert opportunities into sales. You will build partnerships with your accounts to establish and grow their sales, where acquisition, retention, and increased frequency of purchase across both private business and consumer market is the main goal.
You will enjoy being part of a highly skilled, creative, and goal-oriented team of consultants who will work with you and your customers including Business Owners, Multi Site Operators and Regional Managers across Sydney. You will identify opportunities for growth by understanding your customers and connecting them with powerful marketing and sales campaigns that can accelerate their business. You will be supported with comprehensive training and ongoing development, and as the role is highly autonomous you will have the opportunity to be forward thinking in your role both in the office and out on the road. We will require a strong negotiator and excellent communicator with experience of working with and analyzing data in order to identify opportunities for growth. This role includes duties such as:
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
- Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
- Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
- Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
- Working within and improving framework within the business development team
- Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that there requirements are met
Your Background
To be considered for this role, you must fulfill the following criteria;
- Strong sales and go get attitude (no experience necessary)
- Preferably previous experience within the recruitment and training sector
- Be extremely well organized and willing to take on new tasks
- Good skills (intermediate or higher) with Microsoft word, excel and power point
- Good attitude; tough, honest, disciplined and willing to work hard
- Car Preferred (Not Essential)
