Chris O’Brien Lifehouse is an internationally recognised independent, not-for-profit cancer hospital leading the way in delivering patient-centered cancer care. **The Role**

Reporting to the Development Services Manager, the Development Services Officer’s primary purpose is to process and administer the expenditure and income related to our philanthropic gifts and support the team with our CRM and third-party platforms.

**Essential**
- Ability to align with the vision and values of Chris O’Brien Lifehouse
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar fundraising database
- Strong attention to detail, an interest in finding ways to streamline processes and an interest in maintaining data integrity.
- Well-developed computer literacy skills, including intermediate knowledge of MS Word and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- High emotional intelligence, sympathy, empathy and compassion
- Strong customer service skills and an ability to work in a high paced clinical environment
- Methodical and well-organised, with the ability to prioritise and complete daily tasks in a logical and efficient manner
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision as well as part of a team
- General administrative experience including prioritisation of a range of daily activities and tasks.

**Desirable**
- Understanding and principles of finance and fundraising programs
- Experience handling information of a confidential or sensitive nature
