We are currently supporting our client in the hunt for their new
**Strategic**
**Procurement Advisor** in Brisbane CBD. The role within the human services industry will be responsible for strengthening vendor relationships, supporting strategic sourcing, and driving low to medium-risk procurements across a variety of categories.

Working in consultation with your team and key stakeholders you will be responsible for writing, implementing, and executing procurement plans. Offering insights and advice to stakeholders about best practices and approaches. Working on larger procurement pieces with various team members (including talented Senior Category Managers) you will day to day be involved in end to end Strategic procurement including RFQ’s, RFT’s and RFP’s, reports, briefing materials and stakeholder consultation.

**The role will require**:

- Proven experience in end-to-end strategic procurement experience
- Experience with RFQ’s/ RFT’s and RFP’s (either stand-alone, or part of a team approach), strategic sourcing, corporate agreements and tender evaluation to contract execution
- The ability to undertake research, spend, and market analysis to secure value-for-money opportunities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Impeccable organisation, deadline management, and commitment.
- Familiarity with public sector procurement policies - highly regarded
- Qualification in purchasing/procurement - highly regarded
