**Troocoo**
Troocoo Government are recruiting 2 x Principal Procurement Officer (AO7) positions working with this large & complex Queensland State Government Department. These are 12-month contracts with potential to extend further based in Brisbane’s South (with parking available on-site).

The salary banding for these positions commence at $122K + super.

**The opportunities**
These opportunities will report into the Manager - Procurement and will drive value outcomes and complex procurement initiatives. The categories are interesting and varied across infrastructure/construction and goods.

You will be providing high level, strategic procurement and contract management advice which include, procurement planning, sourcing strategy, evaluation, negotiation and contract maintenance. You will also drive value and cost-savings through strategic sourcing initiatives and vendor.

The role will involve complex stakeholder engagement and the ability to manage full end to end procurement processes effectively and efficiently. As the key conduit between the department and suppliers, you will play an integral part in ensuring the smooth operation and supply of these goods and services.

**Your experience**
- Previous high-level experience in end to end procurement across **infrastructure/construction **or **consumable goods**
- Tendering, evaluation, negotiation and maintenance
- Experience within Queensland State Government is highly desirable
- Experience with Queensland State Government procurement guidelines and frameworks are highly regarded
- Ability to plan strategic initiatives and processes with execution
- Extensive stakeholder engagement and vendor management abilities are critical to being successful in these roles
