**The Company**

An internationally known engineering company with over 400 locations worldwide. This company specialises in the manufacture and supply of motion and process control technologies and fluid connectors.

Their products development teams able support their commercial objectives by continuously and consistently concepting new engineered solutions within the hydraulic and pneumatic markets. The ability to deliver both simple and complex solutions has put this company at the forefront of the market verticals that it works across.

**The Position**

This is a **senior sales management** level role, based at the State Head office in **Dandenong** where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the state sales team and be responsible for their abilities to hit and exceed budgets, both monthly and yearly. You will also be responsible for:

- Motivation, guidance and coaching of state sales representatives
- Focussing on the growth of key accounts within the state
- Development and implementation of sales targets
- Coordinating product training on new and existing products

**Experience Required**

To be a success in this role you will require a background in engineering or mechanical solutions and a successful history of selling into these markets.

It would also be advantageous to have experience with the following:

- Prior experience managing and motivating a state sales team
- Experience managing multiple sales channels and product groups
- Clear and concise reporting skills
- Good people management skills
- Budgeting and forecasting experience

Above all we are looking for someone who can drive a sales team with enthusiasm and technical knowledge to success in hitting the goal set out by senior management.
