This role is responsible for generating market demand, building strong channel relationships and ensuring a high-performance, customer-focused team that aligns with company strategy and commercial DNA.Your primary responsibilities include:Service existing accounts and manage assigned relationships to ensure satisfaction and growth.Conduct presentations and prepare tailored sales information for customers.Drive new business development and increase sales across VIC/TAS.Manage and deliver on project specifications, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts.Lead and be accountable for lead generation and conversion across the team.Support state-based functions and provide guidance to the teamProvide organizational reporting and participate in internal and external meetings.Monitor staff activity and manage effective recruitment and performance of the sales team.Foster teamwork and a high-performance culture aligned with company mission and values.Lead with entrepreneurial energy to identify and pursue new business opportunities.Execute sales strategies with precision and urgency to meet and exceed targets.Leverage data and insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize territory performance.What will make you successful:You will be based in Melbourne and ideally have a degree in a business-related field and extensive industry experience (5+ years sales experience in construction / building products whilst leading a team).
