**Environment Manager** is responsible for overseeing and managing the various IT environments within the EGL Transformation Program, ensuring they are stable, secure, and aligned with business requirements. The role is responsible for the strategic management and oversight of EGL Transformation Program IT environments, including development, testing, staging and production environments. The role ensures that these environments are properly configured, maintained, and optimised to support the organisation's SDLC processes and IT Operations effectively.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
**Environment Management**:

- ** Oversee the setup, configuration and maintenance of IT environements, including development, testing, staging and production**
- ** Implement and enforce environment standards and configurations to ensure consistency, reliability and alignment to business requirements**
- ** Monitor and optimize environment usage to ensure efficient resource allocation**

**Environment Optimisation, Planning and Strategy**:

- ** Develop and implement strategies for environment management to support project and operational needs**
- ** Plan for environment provisioning, capacity management and lifecycle management**
- ** Monitor and optimize environment performance to ensure high availability, reliability and efficiency**
- ** Implement and maintain environment monitoring tools and practices**

**Release Planning and Coordination**:

- ** Coordinate with Release & Deployment Teams ensuring release schedules are aligned with project timelines and business objectives.**
- ** Coordinate with Release & Deployment Teams release activities, including change approvals, deployment planning, and rollback strategies.**
- ** Manage changes to IT environments, including deployments, patches and upgrades**
- ** Address and resolve environment-related incidents and problems, including RC Analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence**

**Qualifications**:

- ** Worked within a similar sized enterprise in a business/customer facing role**
- ** Relevant certifications in release management or related areas are a plus.**
- ** Strong relationship management.**
- ** Previous experience within Service integrator/vendor space.**
