Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide individualized assistance to NDIS participants, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support community engagement by facilitating participation in social, recreational, and educational activities.
- Provide transportation to appointments, events, and other activities as needed.
- Implement individualized support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Monitor and report on client progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and rights of clients.

Essential Criteria:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’.
- Valid Australian driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Attributes:

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community or residential setting.
- Understanding of person-centered and strength-based approaches.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
