**Your Impact**

An exciting opportunity has come available for a Manufacturing (Packaging) Manager to join our Yatala Brewery, the largest brewery in Australia. This role is integral to our Site Leadership Team, providing leadership to the Packaging department whilst establishing and maintaining a culture of safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Determination of manufacturing process capability and identification of line constraints to improve business unit profitability.
- Develop, own and ensure execution of the manufacturing Continuous Improvement plan.
- Plan, direct and control the end-to-end operations within the packaging department.
- Ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness through compliance with all relevant Environment, Health and Safety, Quality standards and policies as well as applicable Legal requirements.
- Improve organisation effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a performance culture.
- Lead implementation and embedding of Asahi Way
- Accountable for the capability uplift of direct leadership team with a strong focus on mentoring, coaching and performance feedback

**About You**
- Degree qualifications in Management, Food Technology, Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years’ leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
- A demonstrated achievement of continuous improvement & change management in a traditional manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GMP/HACCP and GFSI compliance standards.
- Budget preparation and P&L management in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with other continuous improvement programs e.g. Lean, Six Sigma.
- Strong communication and Relationship Management (negotiation and influencing) skills, particularly within a unionised environment
- Strong understanding of WHS legislative obligations
- Strong conflict resolution and performance management experience
