**The Opportunity**

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is an executive position and will form part of the senior leadership team. It will oversee all areas of manufacturing and performance across several plants nationally and regular travel will be required. Key responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the Health and Safety; Quality; Operations, Production, Inventory and Food Safety for multiple plants across Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and Victoria
- Preparation and management of national manufacturing budgets
- Training, coaching and mentoring key staff members within the manufacturing department
- Supplier management and customer engagement
- Driving quality planning and lean manufacturing
- Driving productivity and efficiencies through the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies including quality planning

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

- 15 years manufacturing experience in Food, Beverage or FMCG space
- High volume/high speed, multiple site experience
- Solid leadership experience with the ability to lead and motivate a large team to deliver results
- Demonstrated understanding of quality planning and lean manufacturing methodologies
- Experience with HAACP food safety plan and management systems
- Financial management experience including managing profit and loss for multi site operations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to travel interstate on a regular basis
