**Pay: $700 - $850 / day + super**

**Location: Eveleigh & WFH (Combination of onsite & WFH)**

**Hours of work: 40hrs / week**

**Primary purpose of the role**
An exciting opportunity within a NSW State Government organisation to help with the delivery of implementing a new governance framework for the Department’s digital and technology projects.

**Responsibilities**

The PCE Assurance Officer will be responsible for supporting PCE’s portfolio, program, and project assurance activities, including:

- quality review and assurance of project artefacts (eg business cases, projects initiation documents, change requests)
- monitoring of project status and escalating as required
- facilitating independent assurance reviews required under the NSW ICT Assurance Framework
- identify lessons learned and promote best practice in the planning and delivery of technology and digital projects
- continuous improvement.

**Essential experience for the role**
- Project delivery experience (Waterfall and Agile)
- Project Management certification
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders; customer-focused
- Proven ability to work independently under limited direction, contribute co-operatively in a team environment, assist other members of the broader team during times of peak activity, manage significant volumes of work and establish priorities to meet strict deadlines with high levels of personal motivation.

**Desirable**
- P3 assurance experience
