**About the Agency**
The Strategy & Implementation Branch within Greater Sydney division has been established to ensure effective leadership in the implementation of the Client Delivery Model (CDM) which puts customer and community outcomes at the core of what we deliver.
The function of the team is to primarily to lead strategy and implementation of the CDM, however it is also responsible for the leadership of business planning activities for the division, delivery of strategic projects, and management and oversight of the governance functions across the division.

**_ Tenure_**
Full-time, permanent with the option of flexible working hours.
**_ Location of role_**
This role is based at 231 Elizabeth St, Sydney, NSW. Flexible and hybrid work from home arrangements are encouraged.
**_ Objective_**
The role is responsible for providing information and support, to enable decision making and to ensure that governance frameworks, policies and procedures are consistently applied. The role will support the branch in developing and implementing governance and assurance processes and systems.
Strategy and Implementation is a new team which means some of the systems and processes are still being established. This role would best suit someone who is comfortable identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement and recommending plans of action to address these.
**_ What you will do_**
The Governance and Assurance Officer will provide information and support for the Division, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and initiatives.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Provide specialist advice regarding assurance, governance and evaluations to ensure that programs and projects are delivered in accordance with legislation, government policy and requirements.
- Provide effective governance, assurance and evaluation support across the prioritised investment and place based portfolio, 3 year works program, annual works plan, programs and projects to support value for money outcomes and meet the strategic investment framework and strategy requirements.
- Provide support for the divisional Transport Investment Plan (TIP) and Asset Management Plan submission, prioritisation, funding approvals and submissions.
- Manage implementation and compliance with the divisional governance and assurance processes including audit and reviews under the Infrastructure NSW Investor Assurance Framework.
- Prepare and/or collate all relevant administrative papers including (but not limited to) investment and other submissions, assurance reports and decisions securing input and feedback from all relevant persons as well as keeping and managing appropriate records, including coordination of all actions to ensure they are implemented as per governance requirements.
- Develop and implement the process for monitoring and tracking the progress of papers through the various approval stages (for example Deputy Secretary and Finance and Investment Assurance Committee).
- Consult and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and manage relationships effectively to balance competing and conflicting priorities and influence decisions.

- Must live within a daily commutable distance to the location of the role.
