Play a pivotal role in driving Barwon Asset Solutions’ (BAS’) commitment to be a high performing, customer-focussed organisation. BAS tenders for and delivers contracted, and commercial solutions (within maintenance, land management, project delivery and customer dispatch) for Barwon Water and a growing number of external clients.

This role leads the business support functions within Barwon Asset Solutions (BAS) to unlock efficiency opportunities leading to the realisation of tangible benefits across the Barwon Water Group. You will inspire a strong commercial and customer-focussed culture and capability, as well as motivate your team to strive for new levels of service delivery excellence

The purpose of the Business Services section is to provide efficient and best-practice commercial and customer-focussed support for the delivery services within BAS and Barwon Water. Your teams will include administration, fleet, stores/inventory and you will work to realise growth, efficiency and redefine commercial delivery milestones and targets.

A highly regarded professional with solid operational leadership, you’ll build effective internal and external relationships, while influencing the broader business. Leading a skilled team that supports the efficient delivery of essential services 24/7, to both Barwon Water and external clients you empower high performance through mentoring and coaching and motivate the team by creating a workplace environment with an inclusive and safe culture.

You’re someone who is skilled in contract management, service excellence and organisational awareness, and demonstrates an understanding of how to align business and customer needs with environmental, sustainability and financial goals.
