The Role: IT & Project Manager

This is the most senior technical role at GBS.

You will lead major IT projects, mentor the technical team, and be the strategic driver behind secure, modern, and high-performing client environments. Working closely with our Client Services and Solutions teams, you'll be responsible for technical strategy, project delivery, and service excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead complex IT projects – including infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity, cloud migrations, and more.
  • Act as senior technical escalation for all Managed IT services.
  • Design strategic IT roadmaps tailored to clients' needs.
  • Enforce best practices in security, backup, and compliance.
  • Mentor and grow our technical team, driving a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Engage directly with clients, providing technical consultancy and building long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive outcomes that align with business goals.
