The Role
This is a blended L2/L3 IT support role perfect for a capable, hands-on technician who thrives on variety and challenge. You'll handle everything from standard support tickets to complex infrastructure issues while helping deliver world-class service experiences to our clients.
As part of our Client Services team—the backbone of GBS—you'll play a crucial role in maintaining high service standards and ensuring client satisfaction to our Managed IT portfolio.
What You'll Do
Technical Excellence:
- Diagnose and resolve Level 2 and 3 technical issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and desktop environments
- Provide both onsite and remote support for escalated or complex technical incidents
- Act as a key escalation point, offering guidance and hands-on resolution to junior team members.
- Support critical systems including firewalls, backups, endpoint protection, and cloud services
Project & Implementation:
- Assist with IT project deployment including migrations, server installs, system upgrades, and infrastructure refreshes
- Participate in client onboarding and offboarding processes
- Collaborate with Project Manager and Solutions Consultants on deliverable execution
System Administration & Security:
- Maintain key IT infrastructure: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and network equipment
- Implement security controls aligned with Essential 8 and GBS best practices
- Support patching, backups, failover systems, and disaster recovery strategies
Client Focus:
- Maintain clear, professional communication throughout troubleshooting and project processes
- Educate users on best practices and build confidence in technical solutions
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and gather valuable feedback

- Strong technical background in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and networking
- Experience with L2/L3 support in enterprise environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
- Proactive approach to system maintenance and security
- Ability to mentor junior team members
- Commitment to documentation and process compliance
