About the role

Coeliac Australia (CA) is undergoing an exciting transformation and we are looking for an experienced professional to lead our fundraising activities in this newly created role.

Working closely with the CEO, this new position will deliver on the fundraising objectives in the operational plan.

You will be required to
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for CA
- Devise and organise fundraising campaigns and events in conjunction with other CA teams
- Identify fundraising opportunities to help raise awareness of the organisation’s work
- Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of donors/grants/appeals in a CRM database
- Manage all donor/stakeholder relationships and ensure major donors are informed of progress and milestones
- Build relationships with major donors
- Plan, manage and report on fundraising appeals
- Develop alliances with other organisations
- Review, suggest and implement key social media and online tools to assist in fundraising activities
- Achieve or exceed fundraising budget

Relevant Experience
- Proven fundraising experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management
- Excellent project management and time management
- Strong track record in successful appeal management
- Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
