Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fundraising and Donor Engagement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Planning and Projects Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that drives growth and supports the delivery of high-quality care and experiences for our community.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, with expertise in creating and growing shared value opportunities, leadership, and relationship building. You will work closely with our teams to develop and implement a district-wide fundraising and sponsorship strategy, as well as coordinate approaches to the fundraising mix across six hospitals and specialist health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that drives growth and supports the delivery of high-quality care and experiences for our community
  • Work closely with our teams to develop and implement a district-wide fundraising and sponsorship strategy
  • Coordinate approaches to the fundraising mix across six hospitals and specialist health services
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN DONOR AND SPONSOR RELATIONSHIPS
  • IDENTIFY PRIORITY AND DIVERSIFICATION REVENUE OPPORTUNITIES
  • DEVELOP ROBUST GOVERNANCE AND STANDARDISED PROCESSES FOR PHILANTHROPY / DONATIONS / SPONSORSHIPS ACROSS OUR ORGANISATION

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, communications or marketing desirable but not essential
  • Proven track record in fundraising with expertise in creating and growing shared value opportunities, leadership, and relationship building
  • Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2) required
