THE ROLE

As the Fundraising Manager in our small and dynamic organisation, you will be responsible for the execution of the overall fundraising strategy and the development of new channels to optimise our long-term fundraising revenue and ROI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, execute and implement HSI Australia’s fundraising strategy.
- Track fundraising budgets including ‘business as usual’ and strategic investments to grow fundraising.
- Oversee the long-term acquisition investment for growing the Animal Defender monthly regular giving program.
- Develop a multi-year strategy for Gift in Wills and Major Donor programs.
- Manage and enhance the existing mail appeals and newsletter program to optimise engagement and results.
- Produce detailed, regular reporting for the CEO, Finance Manager and Board on fundraising campaign outcomes against targets.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

5+ years’ fundraising experience, ideally in a management role.

Demonstrated experience of creating and executing fundraising investment strategies, including business case modelling and Board approvals.

Working with a CRM (ideally Salesforce) to manage campaigns and donor communications.

SELECTION CRITERIA
- Experience in a fundraising management role involving growing and retaining individual donors.
- Track record for creating, developing and executing fundraising strategies to drive growth.
- Aptitude for holistic approach to achieving outcomes including front
- and back-end processes and integrations.
- Experience in collaborating and building trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and mentor a small team.
