**Community Fundraising Manager - Sports**

In this role, you will have full strategic oversight of the Community Fundraising Sports portfolio which will include creating strategic frameworks, driving new fundraising initiatives, leading new product development, and creating and testing digital communication journeys. You will be responsible for designing journeys that support members of the public who are fundraising through sporting events via communications, marketing materials, and most importantly motivation.

You will lead a team of two to drive the success of signature peer-to-peer sports-focused campaigns that include the 57 Squat Challenge, Step up to Breast Cancer, multiple runs like the City to Surf, treks and all other sport challenges that support fundraising.

This role will suit an experienced Community Fundraising manager looking to move into a large portfolio or could be a perfect next step for a Community Fundraiser looking to develop their leadership capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Full strategic oversight of the large-scale sporting portfolio including signature and p2p events
- Campaign development including strategy and key messaging
- Brief development for agencies and management of suppliers
- Develop the P2P campaign sites and optimise the relevant website pages to support each Community Fundraising campaign with support from the communications teams
- Develop acquisition channel recruitment and engagement plans for each campaign
- Oversee the retention journey across the campaigns portfolio
- Lead all digital marketing initiatives across the campaign journey, including data mining and campaign analysis reporting
- Adapt and develop campaign communications throughout the year to ensure that any areas that are not performing are addressed to achieve campaign targets
- Implementation of multi-channel (SMS, EDM’s and phone calls) targeted fundraiser journeys for each sports fundraising campaign
- Provide regular reporting on campaign performance including acquisition, high-value fundraising, mass fundraising, budgets and income targets
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to gather feedback and provide recommendations for future campaigns
- Manage, motivate and develop a team of 2
- Attend NBCF community fundraising engagement events throughout the year to develop relationships with community fundraisers

**Skills & Attributes**
- Relevant experience in a community fundraising role
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Strong digital marketing and campaign analysis skill set with confidence in using CRM systems for tracking and reporting
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to make recommendations and present innovative and data-driven ideas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence & engage
- Ability to lead and inspire others
- A passion and enthusiasm for the sporting community fundraising space
- Availability to attend fundraising events outside of business hours when necessary
