Manager, Risk Change and Enablement

**Your New Role**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk Strategy and Enablement, the Manager Risk Change and Enablement is critical in supporting Group Risk prioritise, embed and deliver Group Risk initiatives, practices and change. The successful applicant will ensure appropriate consideration is given to change management supported by effective communication, stakeholder engagement and education. The aim is to help embed risk change in a sustainable manner, promoting consistent risk practice across the fund.
**Key duties include but are not limited to**:
- Work with the Senior Manager, Risk Strategy & Enablement to further develop the Group Risk Enablement Service Model. The aim is to implement a scalable and sustainable approach to managing and prioritising change for Group Risk initiatives, which aligns to the Fund Strategy and Business Plan, the Group Risk Domain Plan and our desired culture.
- Evolve and manage the Enablement ‘front door’ process.
- Provide enablement support as per the Enablement Service Model focusing on change, risk and stakeholder engagement. This should include communication and training of GR colleagues on the importance of managing risk change.
- For medium to high impact change initiatives, support Group Risk colleagues deliver key initiatives through design, implementation and embed phases.
- For low change impact initiatives, advise Group Risk on strategies to effectively implement change, communicate with impact and deliver to simplicity.
- Manage the Group Risk workplan supporting GR LT decision making.
- Aid the Senior Manager in annual Business Planning including supporting the assessment of the plan's impact on the fund risk profile.
- Assist the Senior Manager develop the Group Risk three-year rolling Domain Plan.
- Prepare reporting for the team, Leadership team, Executive team, the Chief Executive, Board Committees and the Board on relevant initiatives, as required. This may include progress of Enablement initiatives and Group Risk Domain Plan.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships across Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3 areas across the Fund.
- Exercise initiative and creativity in risk enablement practices that help the fund move towards the target risk culture and maturityDemonstrate commitment to the Funds values, decision pillars and leadership principles.
**What You’ll Need**:
- 4+ years’ experience in risk management (ideally ‘risk in change’ roles) with sound knowledge of risk, risk assessments, control assessments, risk appetite and frameworks.
- 2+ years’ experience in change management / communications or project management.
- Regulated industry experience, ideally in financial services.
- Experience managing competing deadlines within tight timeframes.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Innovative, creative and curious with a strong growth mindset.
- Collaborative, articulate and persuasive leader.
- High level written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to articulate a vision and relevant stories to create buy-in and communicate strategy and concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff and external stakeholders.
- High level of personal integrity as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters.
- A fun and ‘can do’ attitude and approach
- Tertiary qualification in a related field
**Desirable**:
- Experience in risk (transformation) projects
- Training facilitation
- Power BI report creation
- Involvement in business planningUndertaking post graduate studies or industry-based accreditation
