**Your new role**
Reporting to the Manager, Risk Enablement, the role is responsible for supporting the Governance & Accountability department with the delivery of the Fund’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program including the maintenance of all related processes, guidance, and records. You will support with implementation and ongoing co-ordination of the Fund’s supervision and monitoring program for general advice representatives. This involves maintaining records of scheduled activities, monitoring outcomes, reporting and communications to participants.
Some key responsibilities but not limited to;
- Co-ordinating and monitoring completion of role-based training requirements and training to support initiatives and change activities
- Co-ordination of onboarding and offboarding of general advice representatives and colleagues with role-based requirements across the Fund.
- Managing the Governance & Accountability hub (internal team site)
- Assisting with managing daily workflow and incoming stakeholder requests
- Assisting with quarterly reporting and other reporting as required
- Work with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate systems and processes to address and comply with new legislation and regulation
- Prepare and contribute to reports for the function, Leadership team, Executive team, the Chief Executive, Board Committees and the Board on relevant short and long-term trends, performance and specific projects, risks, opportunities, and challenges as required
- Assisting the Risk Enablement team with workflow management and engagement with strategic initiatives and projects
**What you’ll need**
- Experience in superannuation and financial services with good knowledge of the regulatory environment
- RG 146 competent
- Familiarity with legislation and relevant regulatory guidance relating to the delivery of general advice to retail clients
- Background in Learning and Development ideal, with experience in training colleagues in small to large groups
- Strong attention to detail and a critical thinker who drives to achieve deliverables and excellent outcomes
- Experience in assessing CPD materials or willing to work towards the necessary qualifications.
- Ability to analyse trends, diagnose problems and issues, and recommend actions to address underlying root causes
- Experience in managing high volumes of workflow with tight deadlines, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities and prioritise work accordingly.
