Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.
**About the Role**
The Project Officer, Operational Systems Improvement supports the continuous improvement work of the Registries in the Human Rights, Civil Claims, Residential Tenancies, Review and Regulation and Planning and Environment areas. The primary focus of the role is to actively support process improvement and operational outcomes as well as work wtih members to reduce the likelihood of delay and adjournments where system or other issues have been identified. You will be responsible for:
- identifying and actioning areas for improvement to enhance service delivery
- building manuals, flowcharts and other processes to ensure consistency across lists, as directed
- identifying and consolidating arising issues and categorising repeat incidents and reporting, as appropriate
- reporting on emerging issues and identifying improvements
- preparing complex correspondence and reports
- driving service excellence
- taking a systems approach and working with team managers and registry staff to identify and reduce failure demand in processes
**_This role is fixed term until 30 September 2026._**
