About the Team
Transport Services is a Group within the Department of Transport, and is responsible for delivering safe, reliable and accessible transport infrastructure and services to all Victorians. Regional Transport is a Division of Transport Services, and is responsible for delivering a better transport experience connecting regional communities, businesses and visitors.
About the Opportunity
The Business Improvement Officer sits within Regional Transport and contributes to the delivery of regional improvement projects as well as regional risk management planning, coordination and support, including business intelligence and analysis.
About You

Ability to seek opportunities for continuous improvement and ways to innovate; Offers suggestions and ideas, encourages others to do the same; Leverage on existing continuous improvement systems and procedures to improve outcomes, quality and efficiency of work
Diagnoses trends, obstacles and opportunities in the internal and external environment that connect to own work and teams work; Coaches others in using systems thinking to solve problems and create solutions
Considers data volume, variety, velocity, and veracity to establish data collection (e.g. data parameters, data structure) and analysis (e.g. analysis equations, data visualisation) approach; Derives value from data sets to enable immediate and/or future decision making (predictive). May have expertise in formulation basic data models or algorithms.
Monitors customer satisfaction to gain critical insights.
