An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced operational leader to join the Private Sector Industrial Relations (IRV) branch and support the implementation of the Victorian Government's response to the Inquiry into the Victorian On-Demand Workforce as the Operations Manager.
The Private Sector Industrial Relations branch provides expert advice and assistance to Government on private sector industrial relations matters. The branch supports government participation in the development and maintenance of the national industrial relations system and leads responses and submissions to major industrial relations reviews and inquiries.
As the Operations Manager, On-Demand Work Support Service, you will oversee the On-Demand Work Support Service operations and ensure that performance-standards are in accordance with IRV's policies and procedures.
You will lead and motivate teams and effectively manage resources to achieve outcomes, as well as provide sophisticated advice and referral support for highly complex enquiries, monitor case management data and provide insight about trends and issues to relevant stakeholders.
Current knowledge of, or practitioner experience in Victorian Industrial Relations would be highly regarded.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in best practice service delivery in a government context.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective leadership and management experience leading and motivating teams and effectively managing resources to achieve outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in employment law or workplace relations.
