**The Company**

This manufacturing business is going through a significant growth with strong demand from their customers in the building and automotive industry. Focused on two of their biggest categorise. Working closely with the Supply Chain Director and relevant internal stakeholders, our client are looking for a self-sufficient planner who can operate the demand planning function autonomously.

**The Role**

Taking full ownership of the demand planning function, your responsibilities will include but wont be limited too:

- Establish effective monthly Demand review process with input from Product Managers and Account Managers to enable product and category demand profiling.
- Develop framework for MRD replenishment with order frequency targets for 80’s & 20’s.
- Ensure that service levels are set using the businesses 80’s and 20’s customer segmentation methodology and processes designed to achieve these targets.
- Actively managing the S&OP process and exception management
- Identify unplanned exceptions / trend analysis / manage anomalies etc
- Support Promotional activities by ensuring this is captured and exception managed through operations and production

**Your Background**

To be suitable for this position, you should meet the below criteria:

- 3-5 years’ experience in demand and inventory planning
- Sound knowledge of Demand and Supply metrics, key levels, process, and tools.
- Strong analytics, data processing and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills (Excel, ERP - Pronto, Power BI)
- Track record of Influencing & engaging of key stakeholder to deliver improved performance
- Ability to simplify, prioritise, focus around 80’s to drive recommendations
