**Administration Assistant - Design and Implementation**
- CJ Stephens Constructions Pty Ltd is a small construction company located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. We pride ourselves on meticulous construction work with attention to detail. We specialise in extension and renovation work on domestic properties. We seek someone to join our small team, working from our home office._
We are looking for a casual staff member to join our friendly team. This role is flexible and can be tailored to suit the needs of the successful applicant. The role includes general administrative tasks. It also involves meeting with the clients at the start of their build and assisting with choosing the fittings, fixtures and general design features for their renovation. Once information is disseminated to the team via OneNote, you will be responsible for sourcing prices, ordering items and co-ordinating the delivery of the items to site as required. You will also need to liaise with trades and manage their attendance on site as required. You will assist the team with each project, from quotation through the construction phase, to final completion.
The successful applicant will report to the company Director and will work closely with our administration staff.
- Experience in the construction industry will be an advantage._
**This role will suit someone who**:
- Has a good eye for design concepts and renovation styles.
- Is extremely organised and efficient with their use of time.
- Enjoys meeting new people and has excellent communication skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Can work to deadlines
**Key skills required**:
- Basic computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Word, OneNote and Outlook.
- Ability to read site plans and drawings
- Spreadsheet design and formatting
- Communication skills
- Ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously
