**About the opportunity**:
We have an opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our Carer Services Program. The program delivers a range of support services to carers who provide unpaid care and support to a family member or friend, who is frail due to age or has dementia, a disability, mental illness, terminal illness or chronic health condition.

As an Administration Officer, you will provide efficient support to the Carer Services team with a range of administration and customer service tasks. The Administration Officer will liaise between teams, vendors, suppliers and accounts payable to assist with enquires from various stakeholders. The role will provide data entry support using client database management systems and assist with processing invoices.

**About you**:
To be successful, you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having previous experience in administration and customer service roles. You will also bring:

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload with conflicting tasks and deadlines.
- A strong initiative and the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Ability to positively and calmly interact with people from all walks of life and be able to communicate clearly by phone and face to face.
- Previous experience in a human services environment.
