Accounts and Office Manager

This is a new role, created due to growth and expansion. The parent organization has a dominant position in its specialist area of FMCG/Distribution and is highly established with decades of trading history behind it.

This role is working on a subsidiary, so this is a rare opportunity to join something with a great vibe, super positive outlook, kick goals yet also have the security of working for a larger business.

**The role**:

- Manage the key day to day tasks that allow other team members to focus on further growth via sales & marketing.
- AP/AR/Some accounts reconciliation work.
- Inventory Management and administration of the system
- Running a small payroll.
- Some simple aspects of FX.
- Accounting in order the external accountant can prepare BAS
- Management of payments.
- Tracking/accounting of freight and Logistics.
- Ad-hoc tasks around admin, inbound phone enquiries.

This role is ideally suited to a self-starter, as you can see it is a wide job in terms of responsibilities, so someone who enjoys self-management will likely enjoy the role more than those requiring constant management.

Polished and professional communication skills are a non-negotiable, you’ll be the main point of contact for suppliers and vendors.

Lastly, the vibe in this business is really great. They sell niche products to highly enthusiastic customers, occupy a place in the market that is considered mid to luxury brand and come with funky offices with free car-parking a few steps away.

Due to the essential nature of this job, there is no WFH on offer, although the employer prides themselves on working flexibly with staff to ensure everyone gets the most out of their work/life balance.
