**The Company**
Our Client is one of Australia's largest generators of clean, renewable energy, and champions for a sustainable future. For more than a century, Australia has relied on their services to power their homes, communities and the economy. Due to ongoing business growth and an strong demand in renewable energy they are looking to expand their IT department with an IT Cloud Infrastructure Lead position.
**Your Responsibilities**
The Cloud Infrastructure Lead is responsible for leading a high performing team of Cloud Infrastructure experts who support and maintain private and public clouds across the business.
You will be accountable for managing relevant budgets and service providers as delegated by the Manager IT Operations.
The Cloud Infrastructure Lead’s role is to provide expert technical knowledge across cloud technologies, and various service management methods including Agile and ITIL.
The role will drive and enable collaboration, and continually improve the reliability and capability of
processes that ensure a optimal and customer focused delivery of services
to the business.
**Your Experience**
- Qualifications in relevant disciplines, and commensurate experience.
- Demonstrated experience successfully and effectively leading technical teams with
varying levels of experience and knowledge, with a values based approach, within a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated capability and passion for developing and coaching individuals by building meaningful career paths, enabling growth and learning opportunities, and leveraging
these actions to drive a team culture of safety and engagement.
- Embody a team approach, ensuring appropriate collaboration that builds strong partnerships within the Cloud Infrastructure team and across the organisation.
Expert level domain expertise in more than one of the following areas:
- Active Directory and Azure AD
- VMware technologies (including vCenter, vSphere, vSAN ,
- Dell VxRail hyper converged infrastructure
- Azure Stack Hub
- AWS
- Dell backup technologies (including Data Domain, NetWorker and PowerProtect
- Microsoft 365 (including Teams and Exchange Online)
- ServiceNow
- Puppet
- Terraform
