**What is the role?**
As the leading provider of training services for the three main Cloud Providers, DDLS is seeking a technical trainer with expertise and experience in Cloud Platform technologies. The successful applicant will need to be based in Australia and this role will require you to have skills across multiple platforms, with the ability to grow these skills as demand increases. We have an immediate requirement for an individual with experience and certifications within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) space, with scope for this role to extend to the AWS space at a later time.
**What will you do?**
You will deliver GCP training to our corporate and government clients via a range of delivery modalities, including classroom instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training and a hybrid of the two.
Our trainers are an integral part of our success, embracing and leading change, are future-focused, technologically advanced and service-driven. They play a key role in helping prepare our clients for the digital landscape of tomorrow and deliver a wide range of training courses to maximise the learning engagement for our clients.
**Who are you?**
You will be someone who can demonstrate a history of successfully facilitating quality training delivery programs.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Qualifications and experience in the following Cloud technologies:
- Google Cloud Platform, certified as a Professional Cloud Architect (required)
Other GCP Professional certifications would be desirable and considered
- AWS Certified at an Associate, Professional or Specialty levelPractical real-world experience in these platforms would be highly regarded
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be advantageous
A proven record of course facilitation with a minimum of 3 years’ training experience
Ability to quickly develop a rapport with trainees
Ability to understand complex technical matters and articulate these in simple to understand language
Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
