About Us
For over 150 years, we've made the toughest, no-nonsense footwear for work and play. Our global footprint spans six continents and over 70 countries, but our heart remains in Hobart, Tasmania. We're proudly family-owned, and our commitment to innovation, quality, and resilience is reflected not only in our products but in our people.
We're a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, and our ICT team plays a critical role in enabling secure, scalable, and smart technology solutions across the business. As we continue to grow, we're investing in our cybersecurity capability to ensure our digital assets and systems remain protected in an evolving threat landscape.
About the Role
We're seeking a Cybersecurity Lead to be based out of our Moonah Head Office in Hobart, Tasmania. This role will operationalise our cybersecurity strategy and strengthen our security posture across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. This role is hands-on and strategic - you'll be our subject matter expert, guiding teams, influencing decisions, and embedding best-practice security controls across the organisation.
You'll work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to manage risks, respond to incidents, and promote a culture of security awareness. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the business and the opportunity to shape how we protect what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead security operations, incident response, and investigations.
- Administer and optimise security tools including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
- Contribute to cybersecurity strategy, governance, and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans.
- Deliver security awareness programs in partnership with People & Culture.
- Collaborate across departments to embed security into projects and operations.
- Provide expert advice on secure design and implementation of ICT initiatives.
About You
You're a proactive and strategic cybersecurity professional with significant operational experience in Microsoft Security Suite and a passion for continuous improvement. You thrive in collaborative environments and can translate complex security concepts into practical solutions that support business goals.
You Bring:
- Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Security Suite.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, IAM, DLP, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A forward-thinking mindset and commitment to staying ahead of emerging threats.
What We Offer
- A dynamic and rewarding role in a market-leading, family-owned business.
- Competitive salary package with access to our annual performance bonus program.
- Opportunities for professional development and certification.
- Access to our Health and Wellbeing Program, including an onsite gym.
How to Apply
If you're ready to lead cybersecurity in a business that values innovation, resilience, and authenticity, we'd love to hear from you.
Submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role by
