An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and dedicated Manager - Privacy and Customer Trust to join our team. This is a really unique and interesting role with unbelievable scope and the chance to really shape a strategy.

You will be a senior leader in the OneDigital Privacy and Customer Trust Team, responsible for leading key privacy and customer trust initiatives for OneDigital with a primary focus on Catch. You will drive the refresh and implementation of the Catch Privacy Management Framework, with a focus on privacy risk management, embedding a privacy aware culture, and facilitating privacy aware value creation.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Melbourne.

**The key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Key contributor to the development and implementation of the OneDigital privacy and customer trust strategy and framework with a focus on Catch, including engaging with the leadership team and other senior stakeholders
- Lead development of approach for structured, scalable, and sustainable privacy processes including implementation, testing, and monitoring (including improving or building Catch specific artefacts, or adapting existing OneDigital artefacts)
- Provide strategic and actionable privacy advice and support across the data lifecycle, with a focus on Privacy-by-Design (PbD). Key functions supported will include customer, product, marketing, retail brand, tech, cyber, data governance, risk and assurance
- Manage the development, and assist with the delivery, of privacy training to create a privacy aware culture within Catch
- Drive the business understanding of the strategic and operational impacts of privacy related regulatory changes, and support the development of privacy aware practices to enhance customer trust and facilitate value creation
- Maintain and update the consent management framework and own the privacy policy content
- Work with other teams to manage the individual rights process
- Support the development and maintenance of data use case guardrails related to the handling of personal information
- Lead and support privacy incident reviews and complete business impact assessments with risk
- Maintain register of all Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs). Track commitments to completion via monthly updates and escalate where compliance requirements at risk of missing due dates.
- Develop a Privacy Management framework that links to the Catch risk appetite and other business frameworks like Data Governance and Cyber security frameworks
- Provide privacy updates, as required, to Audit Risk and Compliance Committee and Boards
- Key provider of guidance and support to other Privacy and Customer Trust team members across OneDigital and the Wesfarmers Group
- Key provider of advice and support to the General Manager, Divisional Managing Director and Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders on privacy related issues and trends (including across customer, regulatory, and technology domains)

**To be successful for this role, you will demonstrate**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing or advising on privacy management and governance programs in a professional role
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic frameworks, roadmaps, and change management programs
- Strong knowledge and experience with the Australian Privacy Act, OAIC guidance and IAPP (or similar) frameworks including in relation to consumers, digital technology, analytics, direct marketing, and consent frameworks
- Deep understanding of privacy best practices, business, and technology related issues
- Working knowledge of data analytics and digital marketing technology and processes
- Proven project management skills
- A strong reputation for integrity and ethics and a passion for privacy and technology
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and skills development
- Confident communicator with excellent time management and focus on details
- Comfortable working autonomously, and dealing with ambiguity and evolving user requirements
- Ability to use influencing and relationship management skills to work collaboratively as part of a project and operational cross-functional teams (including Agile)
- Interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality
