Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Melbourne, VIC for a Privacy and Records Compliance Manager. The Privacy and Records Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's privacy policies, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, managing records, and conducting regular audits. This role involves developing and implementing privacy and records management strategies, training staff on privacy policies, responding to privacy breaches, and regularly updating compliance policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of privacy laws, data protection regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in records management and developing recordkeeping policies
  • Proven ability to conduct audits and manage data breaches
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver training on privacy and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPP or CIPM are a plus
