What you'll do:
We're seeking a Privacy Specialist for a newly created role designed to strengthen our privacy framework, support Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and promote a strong privacy culture. This role works across the business to embed privacy into projects and processes, providing expert advice, maintaining our privacy policy, and supporting customer trust through effective data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess privacy risks and recommend controls through Privacy Impact Assessments, analysing data collection, consent requirements, and risk mitigation.
- Build a positive privacy culture by delivering privacy training, providing guidance to teams, preparing design diagrams, and monitoring privacy metrics.
- Maintain and improve the privacy framework, policies, and tools; support incident response; and collaborate with legal, tech, and governance teams on privacy compliance and consent management.
This role is offered in a hybrid capacity, with 3 days per week based in our Docklands support office.

What you'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a privacy, legal, technology, or healthcare compliance role.
- Demonstrated understanding of privacy laws and concepts, particularly in healthcare environments.
- Passionate about privacy, with a focus on keeping data organised and secure.
- Strong understanding of technology and how data flows across interconnected systems.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging training and present confidently to groups.
- Proven expertise in negotiation and communication (verbal and written).
- Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software is beneficial.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite and data analysis tools.
- Holds tertiary qualifications in related fields such as privacy, law, healthcare, or technology.
