We are seeking an experienced National Fleet Lead to join the Corporate Logistics Team. In this role the National Fleet lead is responsible for the daily operational responsibilities of the entire fleet spectrum and responsible for assisting in the procurement and building teamwork conducive relationships with suppliers to ensure that the supplied range of equipment is best fit for the business both operationally and financially.

The role will provide analytical and commercial support to the National Fleet, MHE & Asset Manager.

What you’ll do
- Responsible for the vehicle ordering process and ensuring that all steps are completed correctly (passenger and truck)
- Responsibility for lease end expiries on existing contracts. Ensure that vehicles are replaced as leases end, ensuring vehicle are replaced in a timely manner
- Ensure all company vehicles are registered prior to expiry date ensuring branches are provided with enough time to complete inspections
- Reconciliation of data provided by Fleet management provider ensuring costs invoiced are as expected
- Responsible for day-to-day management of Tool of Trade vehicles
- Deliver expected outcomes, as planned, on time, on budget or as planned
- Responsible for vehicle servicing. Ensure all vehicle services are up to date and within acceptable parameters, passenger, truck, fridge and tailgate and that data is correctly entered telematics weekly
- Engagement with various partners both internal and external and across the business.
- Promote and encourage engagement with safety functions and business to improve safety

What you’ll bring
- Minimum 3years working in fleet background/ experience
- Knowledge of truck building to specification an advantage
- Intermediate experience using all Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS teams.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to influence and negotiate with all levels both internal and external to the organization
- Knowledge of basic OHS practices associated with motor vehicles
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, ensuring that obstacles are identified and resolved in a satisfactory and timely manner, risk is minimized
